Thinly slice the steak against the grain and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
In a small bowl, whisk well all the stir fry sauce ingredients.
Heat half of the oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add half of the beef in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 2 minutes, continue to stir fry for 2 minutes, more, or until the steak is just cooked.
Set aside and repeat with the remaining beef.
To the same preheated pan add the broccoli and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
Reduce the heat to a medium and stir in the stir fry sauce. The sauce should start to thicken as it starts to bubble, so stir often.

Frequently asked questions
What beef meat is good for stir-fry?
There are many options you can choose from. Some good ones you can use for stir-fries are sirloin, ribeye, top loin (strip), skirt, flank, tenderloin, and shoulder center (Ranch Steak). There are others but the above beef cuts are among the most tender beef cuts that are recommended for stir-fries.
How do you make stir-fry beef less chewy?
You have to use the right cut of meat that is best for stir-fries. But to help get the beef to be as tender as possible, cut them into smaller and thinner pieces. They won't need that much cooking and thus will allow you to not overcook which leads to toucher-tasting beef.
Which oil is not sustainable for stir-frying?
Extra virgin olive oil is the most "non-ideal" oil used in stir-frying. It has a low smoke point and a strong flavor. We recommend any neutral-tasting oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, or groundnut oil.
Can I use butter for Stir-frying?
Yes. Butter has a low smoke point and is a good choice to use in stir-frying. You may use Ghee as well. For a healthier option, go with other oils like sesame and/or avocado oil.
