I was recommended this author by my cousin. I have heard about this homo for many years but never read any of his books until this year.

It started out pretty expert just I gradually lost involvement with the constant talk most himself, his life, his wife, kids..etc. I understand he was speaking about them and the events as examples, only for some reason it just felt to me that he was a flake, bragging?, IDK. Information technology just turned me off. Pitiful.

Don't get me incorrect, I am very happy he has a perfect life. I

I was recommended this author past my cousin. I have heard about this man for many years just never read any of his books until this year.

Information technology started out pretty practiced but I gradually lost interest with the constant talk about himself, his life, his wife, kids..etc. I understand he was speaking about them and the events as examples, but for some reason information technology just felt to me that he was a bit, bragging?, IDK. It just turned me off. Sorry.

Don't go me wrong, I am very happy he has a perfect life. I am as well glad to come across he shares his wisdom of spiritual enlightenment with the globe. That he spreads the cognition. I only don't enjoy the way he executes information technology. Information technology doesn't speak to me. I prefer Eckhart Tolle. I adopt a more than educational..for lack of a better word..or cognitive..method of conveying it.

I suppose that since I am besides not a fan of poetry, which he begins every chapter with, didn't help much either.

Perhaps one day I will come back and read it. Correct at present I take other books I demand to read.

I admittedly like pretty much annihilation Dr. Dyer writes. This is the one book of his that I turn to almost daily. I bought it about x years ago and it still has something new to tell me. My brother recited from memory "When Y'all Are Old" by Yeats at my Grandmothemr's funeral and I hadn't ever heard it all the manner through. Dr. Dyer explains that Yeats married late in life and this poem was his annunciation of love not just for romance but for adoration of your love's "pilgrim soul and the sorrows of your changing face." I read 1 section every couple of days and it has amused me how different poems accept meant something different to me as I age and life shows me new challenges each year. He listens, reports and opens up the reader's listen to translate these writings for the self. ...more

The failures and frustrations, along with the immediate successes, are a role and parcel of the perfection of it all. This volume was fantastic. Each private chapter was filled with wisdom. Wayne Dyer has a cracking voice and wonderful way of breaking down quotes written by such wonderful minds as Leonardo DaVinci to Mark Twain; he shares them in a way anyone can empathise and chronicle to. A cute option of poetry and some beautiful insights although hearing about the Dyer's birth control methods in the final chapter did brand me laugh enough to startle my true cat.

There'due south a lot of criticism about Dyer being egotistical and although he does tend to talk about himself I feel he just uses examples from his own life.

But yes the birth command methods. If I were Saje I'd find it hilarious.

Wise, funny, insightful and grounded in real life examples.

I dear you lot Wayne 🤣

A drove of inspirational teachings from a cross department of writers, philosophers, sages, gurus, through out history with the authors explanation how these pieces of wisdom helped him along his journey to forgiveness for his male parent afterward his decease. I really enjoyed information technology particularly every bit it introduced me to the piece of work of some people I had non heard of before like Rumi.

Expert compilation by Mr. Wayne Dyer

I think Mr. Dyer choose to make life easier for us by throwing low-cal on numerous topics that matter to any one interested in living a decent life. One needs to exist patient and read one topic per solar day. If one does that , you become gear up for peaceful existence.

He includes Jesus, Shakespeare, Ghandi, Michelangelo, Emerson and near 55 more souls that shook the world. His essays are inviting, like shooting fish in a barrel to read, and concise. I found myself enjoying virtually every passage. The author takes a short few pages to lay out in his words what was meant past the quotation chosen for that chapter. Though curt, the essay never feels rushed, and I always institute a feeling of abyss.

It is the kind of book that is so useful, that I discover myself revisiting passages based on my mood, inspiration, or lack thereof.
